Oxnard, CA (September 29, 2026) – A 64-year-old Oxnard man was killed early Monday morning after being struck by a vehicle while crossing Victoria Avenue.
According to the Oxnard Police Department, officers and emergency medical personnel responded at approximately 2:03 a.m. on September 28 to Victoria Avenue at Gum Tree Street, about 300 feet south of the Santa Clara River Bridge.
Responding officers found the pedestrian lying in the southbound traffic lanes with severe injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
