Jacksonville, FL (October 5, 2026) – A 34-year-old St. Augustine woman was killed and two other drivers were injured in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 295 early Sunday morning. The collision occurred around 1:27 a.m. on October 4 near San Jose Boulevard in Jacksonville.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the woman was driving a car southbound in the northbound lanes when her vehicle sideswiped another car. Her vehicle then struck an SUV head-on.
