Bellefontaine, OH (October 6, 2026) – Two vehicles sustained disabling damage Sunday evening in a collision at West Sandusky Avenue and North Hayes Street in Bellefontaine.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the October 4 crash occurred shortly before 8 p.m. The Bellefontaine Police Department reported that 20-year-old Maysan Barnett of Bellefontaine was driving a 2013 Honda Civic west on West Sandusky Avenue.
Police said Barnett attempted to turn left onto North Hayes Street when the Civic was struck by a 2024 Honda Ridgeline driven by 38-year-old Wesley Bach of Bellefontaine. Bach had been traveling east on West Sandusky Avenue.
Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene.
Authorities reported that no injuries resulted from the collision. Barnett was issued a citation for failure to yield.
