News sources show that around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, officers responded to the 3600 block of West Hundred Road after receiving reports of a serious crash. Authorities say a Dodge Caliber traveling eastbound veered across the center line and struck a motorcyclist head-on.
The motorcyclist, identified as 29-year-old Christopher D. Harding, Jr., was rushed to a nearby hospital with critical injuries. Sadly, he succumbed to those injuries the following day, Friday, June 20.
The driver of the Dodge Caliber, 56-year-old Bradford G. Jordan, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and remains in custody at the Chesterfield County Jail. Further charges are expected as the investigation continues.
