Otis, OR (October 4, 2024) – A 15-year-old boy tragically died after a crash involving a dirt bike and a FedEx delivery truck on Thursday afternoon, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the accident just after 12:30 p.m. on North Maple Drive. When they arrived, they found the teenage dirt bike rider had passed away at the scene. The boy’s name has not been released.
The driver of the FedEx truck immediately called 911 and attempted to render aid to the teen. Authorities confirm the driver is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
