American Fork, UT (June 28, 2025) – A chaotic scene unfolded Friday morning when a pickup truck slammed into a barbershop at a strip mall in American Fork, leaving one person hospitalized and multiple others injured.
According to reports, the incident happened just after 10 a.m. on June 28 at the Anvil Barber Co. Witnesses said a Ford F-150 crashed through the front of the building, causing significant damage to the barbershop and neighboring businesses in the strip mall.
A barbershop employee suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital for further treatment. Two occupants inside the pickup truck received minor injuries and were treated at the scene by emergency responders. Witnesses described the impact as extremely loud, with debris, smoke, and dust filling the air. Darcy Walters, who works next door, said she ran over to help the injured and saw the shop owner struggling to walk with a bleeding leg and hand.
In addition to the physical damage, the crash caused a gas leak, which was quickly contained by Enbridge crews. Rocky Mountain Power was also on site to handle any electrical issues caused by the impact.
