Authorities say a 13-year-old boy from Sewell, New Jersey, was a passenger in a Honda Accord driven by a 55-year-old man, also from Sewell, when tragedy struck.
Investigators believe a 22-year-old man driving a Mitsubishi Lancer attempted to pass another car by entering the northbound lane but struck the Honda head-on instead. The impact killed the young boy, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
