Fillmore, CA (July 5, 2025) — A tragic collision claimed the lives of a woman and a young boy and left four other people injured following a two-vehicle crash in Fillmore the night of July 2.
News sources show that the accident happened around 8:45 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 126 and D Street, an area also known as Ventura Street within the Fillmore city limits. According to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, two vehicles collided head-on in the westbound lanes of the highway just west of D Street.
A 28-year-old woman from Oxnard was pronounced dead at the scene, while five other victims, including a 5-year-old boy from Fillmore, were rushed to area hospitals for treatment. The young boy later died as a result of his injuries.
