Los Angeles, CA (July 6, 2025) – A pedestrian lost his life late Thursday night when he was struck by a motorcycle rider near Koreatown, according to local authorities.
According to reports, officers with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Olympic Division responded at approximately 10:51 p.m. on July 4 to the area of South Vermont Avenue and San Marino Street after receiving reports of a collision.
Investigators said a motorcycle rider was traveling southbound on Vermont Avenue when they struck the pedestrian, identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office as 47-year-old Feliciano Pascual Nacario. Nacario was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel.
The motorcycle rider suffered injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where they remain in stable condition. The LAPD is actively investigating what may have caused the deadly crash and whether any contributing factors, such as speed or visibility, played a role.
