Chicago, IL (July 7, 2025) — A woman lost her life in a tragic early-morning crash that ended with her vehicle striking a parked semi-truck on the city’s Northwest Side.
According to reports, the collision occurred just before 1:30 a.m. on July 6 in the 8100 block of West Belmont Avenue in the Dunning neighborhood. Chicago police say a dark-colored vehicle driven by a 37-year-old woman and a dark-colored SUV driven by a 20-year-old man were both traveling west on Belmont Avenue when they collided.
