Corpus Christi, TX (July 12, 2025) — A motorcyclist is fighting for his life after a serious collision at a busy Corpus Christi intersection earlier this week.

According to reports, the crash happened Tuesday, July 8, at approximately 3:22 p.m. at the intersection of Weber Road and McArdle Road. Police say a vehicle was traveling south on Weber Road and attempted to turn left onto McArdle Road under a flashing yellow arrow. At that moment, a motorcycle traveling north on Weber Road with a green light entered the intersection.

Investigators determined that the driver of the vehicle failed to yield the right of way and struck the motorcycle, ejecting the rider from the bike on impact. Corpus Christi Fire Department crews rushed to the scene and transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Officers cited the driver for failing to yield the right of way while turning left.
