East Aurora, NY (July 15, 2025) – Emergency crews rushed to a serious rollover crash early Sunday morning after an automated crash detection system sent an alert to first responders in East Aurora. The accident occurred around 4:50 a.m. on July 13 along the 1700 block of Hubbard Road.

According to reports, the East Aurora Fire Department arrived to find a vehicle on its side with the driver trapped inside. Firefighters noted that the most severe damage was on the passenger side of the car. Using hydraulic rescue tools, crews worked diligently to extricate the driver, successfully freeing them around 5:33 a.m.

Mercy Flight had already arrived at the landing zone at East Aurora High School to airlift the victim for urgent medical treatment. The extent of the driver’s injuries has not been publicly released. Once the vehicle was cleared and the driver transported, the East Aurora Police Department and Erie County Sheriff’s Office Accident Investigation Unit took over the scene to determine what caused the crash.
