Lincoln, MO (July 17, 2025) – A crash involving two vehicles on US Highway 61 Wednesday afternoon left one man seriously hurt after his truck crossed over into oncoming lanes and collided with another vehicle.
According to reports, the collision occurred around 3:10 p.m. on July 16, just south of the Missouri KK overpass. A 2023 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 60-year-old Troy man, was heading north when it traveled off the left side of the roadway and into the grass median. The vehicle then entered the southbound lanes and struck a 2021 Toyota RAV4 operated by a 25-year-old man from Edina, Minnesota.
After the impact, the Silverado continued off the roadway and hit a rock bluff. The truck sustained total damage and was towed from the scene by Priority 1. The driver was seriously injured and transported by Lincoln County EMS to Mercy Hospital St. Louis. The Toyota RAV4 sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
