Car Accident in Tulare County, CA — 2 Hurt in Crash on Avenue 352 Near Traver (July 24, 2025)

Tulare County, CA (July 25, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision early Thursday morning left one car partially submerged in a ditch and sent two people to be treated for injuries, according to California Highway Patrol.

According to reports, the crash occurred around 5:50 a.m. on July 24 along Avenue 352 near Traver, just east of the Kings County line. The incident involved a red 2003 Ford Mustang and a white Nissan Rogue. The Mustang ended up in the Clough Ditch, with its doors jammed shut, presenting a challenge for emergency crews.

Tulare County Fire and CHP arrived quickly, providing care to the male driver of the Mustang, who suffered moderate injuries. Fortunately, all occupants had exited the submerged vehicle before fire crews arrived. A helicopter was initially requested for medical transport but was later canceled.

Tow trucks from ASAP Towing and Richards Towing responded to remove the damaged vehicles. The westbound lane of Avenue 352 was briefly affected during cleanup. No additional injuries were reported.

Protect Your Rights After an Accident Today

Crashes involving vehicles in ditches or submerged conditions can complicate both rescue and liability efforts. Injured drivers and passengers may not realize they are entitled to compensation for vehicle loss, medical expenses, and other damages. A personal injury attorney can investigate the full circumstances of the crash, assess fault, and help you secure fair compensation. Even when a crash seems straightforward, factors like road design, weather, or mechanical failure may play a role. Protect your future by consulting legal counsel as soon as possible after an accident.
