Spanish Fork, UT (July 26, 2025) — A deadly collision occurred Thursday evening in Spanish Fork Canyon when a motorcycle struck a vehicle turning ahead on the roadway.
According to reports, the incident happened around 7:01 p.m. on July 25 along Highway 89. A vehicle attempting to turn onto westbound Highway 6 was hit by an eastbound motorcycle, resulting in a violent impact that ejected the rider approximately 150 feet from the crash site.
The motorcyclist, a 40-year-old man from Helper, Utah, was pronounced dead at the scene by responding emergency personnel.
Due to the crash, multiple lanes were shut down, and northbound drivers on Highway 89 were rerouted to travel westbound on U.S. Highway 6. The Utah Highway Patrol continues to investigate the fatal accident.
