Hanover, MA (July 26, 2025) — A multi-person transport van and a sport utility vehicle collided late Thursday morning, sending thirteen people to the hospital in a crash that closed part of Webster Street.
According to reports, the crash occurred around 11:32 a.m. on July 25 near the Village at Walnut Creek 55+ community. The van rolled onto its side following the collision, and both vehicles sustained moderate to severe damage.
Inside the van were two staff members from Cardinal Cushing Centers and seven participants from a day habilitation program. They were delivering Meals on Wheels at the time. The SUV involved was carrying two young children along with their aunt and uncle.
Emergency responders from multiple jurisdictions arrived on the scene and transported all thirteen individuals to South Shore Health with what were reported as minor injuries. Webster Street was shut down between Main and Walnut Streets for investigation and cleanup.
