Taunton, MA (July 26, 2025) — A Thursday afternoon crash involving a scooter and two vehicles sent three people to the hospital, including two teenagers.
According to reports, Taunton Police responded to the intersection of Cohannet Street and Silver Street around 1:00 p.m. on July 24 after receiving calls about a multi-vehicle accident.
The crash involved a Toyota RAV4, a Toyota Camry, and a scooter carrying two juveniles. The 16-year-old scooter driver was airlifted to a nearby hospital via MedFlight with serious injuries. His passenger, a 15-year-old boy from Taunton, was taken to Morton Hospital for treatment.
The 81-year-old woman driving the RAV4 was not injured. The Camry driver, a 51-year-old woman from Taunton, was also transported to Morton Hospital. The cause of the collision remains under investigation by local authorities.
