Coachella, CA (July 27, 2025) – Fire crews were dispatched Friday night after flames broke out at a residential property in Coachella, causing severe damage to the structure.
According to reports, the fire was reported just before 8:30 p.m. on July 25 at a home in the 52400 block of Morgan Avenue. When CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department units arrived on scene, they discovered a single-family home fully engulfed in flames. Additional engines were requested due to the intensity of the fire.
Though the home was unoccupied at the time, at least one individual sustained a minor injury and was treated on scene. No hospital transport was required. By 9:40 p.m., CAL FIRE confirmed that the structure had been completely destroyed. Fire crews remained on site for approximately one more hour to complete overhaul and cleanup efforts.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
