Middletown, NJ (July 30, 2025) – Four individuals now face charges following a deadly crash that occurred on the Garden State Parkway in late June, killing one man and seriously injuring another.
According to reports, the collision happened around 7:04 p.m. on June 29 near mile marker 130 southbound. Authorities arrived to find Albion Hysenaj, 20, and a 21-year-old Staten Island resident ejected from a BMW X3 that had flipped multiple times. Both were transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where Hysenaj was pronounced dead. The other passenger remains hospitalized with serious injuries.
Investigators determined that the BMW X3, driven by 20-year-old Alvi Limani of Staten Island, and a BMW M5 driven by Jeter Ogando, 23, of Perth Amboy, were racing when Limani’s vehicle struck two other cars and overturned. Also in the BMW X3 was Emily Harrington, 19, who was not ejected. Both Limani and Harrington fled the scene on foot.
Authorities later discovered that Limani had attempted to leave the country with the help of his mother, Vilma Vneshta, 42. Both were located and apprehended near Miami, Florida, on July 17 and remain in custody pending extradition to New Jersey.
Limani is charged with first-degree aggravated manslaughter, vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of a deadly crash, and several counts of endangering. Harrington is charged with hindering, obstruction, and conspiracy. Vneshta is facing hindering charges for her role in the attempted escape. Ogando faces second-degree vehicular homicide, endangering, and assault by auto.
