Desert Hot Springs, CA (July 30, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle collision Tuesday evening left seven people injured, including two children, in Desert Hot Springs.
According to reports, the crash occurred around 7:00 p.m. on July 29 in the 14500 block of Palm Drive. Emergency crews from Desert Hot Springs Police and fire services responded quickly to the scene. All seven victims — five adults and two children — were transported to local hospitals with injuries ranging from major to moderate.
The northbound lanes of Palm Drive were temporarily shut down beginning at Camino Campanero as first responders provided aid and began their investigation. The Desert Hot Springs Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team has taken over the case.
Authorities stated that alcohol and speed may have contributed to the crash, though no arrests or citations have yet been announced as of this publication.
