Aurora, CO (August 1, 2025) — A woman sustained life-threatening injuries early Monday morning after being struck by a vehicle in a serious crash that shut down multiple lanes near a busy Aurora intersection.
According to reports, officers with the Aurora Police Department responded to the scene at approximately 7:05 a.m. on July 29. The crash occurred at the intersection of South Havana Street and East Jewell Avenue and involved a pedestrian and at least one vehicle.
The woman was quickly transported by emergency medical personnel to a nearby hospital. Her condition remains critical. In response to the collision, two southbound lanes of Havana Street and all eastbound and westbound lanes of Jewell Avenue were closed as investigators worked the scene and collected evidence.
