News sources show that the accident occurred around 2:20 p.m. on July 31 near the 16400 block of Dewitt Avenue. Officers with the California Highway Patrol and emergency crews responded swiftly after receiving reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and an unidentified vehicle. The motorcyclist was found down in the roadway and was provided immediate medical care for serious injuries.
CHP confirmed that the crash was later classified as a major injury incident. Both lanes of Dewitt Avenue were temporarily closed while crews worked at the scene.
