San Diego, CA (August 4, 2025) – A deadly multi-vehicle collision caused major traffic delays on Interstate 15 Sunday morning near Carmel Mountain Ranch, resulting in at least one confirmed fatality and several other injuries.
According to reports, the crash occurred just before 9 a.m. on August 4 in the southbound lanes of I-15 near Camino del Norte. The California Highway Patrol said the initial impact took place in the carpool lane and involved three vehicles.
