According to reports, the accident occurred around 12:30 a.m. on August 5 along Bridgeport Circle. California Highway Patrol officers were dispatched to the scene shortly after the collision.
A car carrying two teenage girls and an adult in the back seat veered off the road and crashed into a residence where a couple and their dog were inside. The two girls, estimated to be around 13 or 14 years old, were seriously hurt and taken to a nearby hospital. The homeowners sustained minor cuts but declined medical transport.
