Temple, TX (August 6, 2025) — A motorcyclist was killed early Tuesday morning following a collision on Interstate 35 in Temple, local authorities confirmed.
According to reports, the crash occurred around 7:00 a.m. on August 5 along the northbound lanes of I-35 at Exit 298, which connects to Avenue H. Investigators say the motorcyclist collided with the rear of an Audi passenger vehicle before veering off the roadway.
Emergency personnel arrived quickly, but the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Temple Police Department’s Traffic Reconstruction Unit responded and temporarily shut down Exit 299 to conduct a full investigation into the fatal crash. The identity of the deceased has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
