According to reports, the collision occurred just before 6:00 a.m. on August 6, 2025, on Sheldon Road near West Stockton Boulevard. Emergency crews responded to the scene and found a person down in the roadway with severe injuries.
Sacramento Police confirmed the pedestrian was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The identity and age of the victim have not been released.
