San Bernardino, CA (July 31, 2025) – A deadly dog attack near a homeless encampment in San Bernardino has left one woman dead and another injured. The incident occurred on July 31 around 5 p.m. in the area of Pacific Street and Perris Hill Park Road, near East Twin Creek.
According to reports, officers arrived to find a woman being mauled by two dogs. While an officer attempted to provide aid, two more dogs charged from nearby bushes. The officer fired his handgun, killing one of the animals. Another woman was located nearby with severe facial injuries and was transported to a hospital, where she later died.
