Cheektowaga, NY (Aug. 8, 2025) – Emergency crews responded Friday morning to a serious workplace incident at P & G Steel on Harlem Road near Gruner Road. The call came in around 10:06 a.m., reporting that a male worker was suffering heavy bleeding from a head injury.
According to reports, Cheektowaga Police arrived within minutes and requested American Medical Response (AMR) to respond urgently as firefighters attempted to control the bleeding. AMR crews, dispatched from Ridge Road and Interstate 90, arrived on scene at approximately 10:16 a.m. The injured man was transported to Erie County Medical Center for further treatment.
Officials have not released the worker’s name or the circumstances that caused the injury. The incident remains under review.
