Marina, CA (August 11, 2025) — A pedestrian was killed Tuesday night after being struck by a vehicle in Marina. The fatal crash occurred on August 5 at approximately 9:57 p.m. near Reservation Road, just south of Blanco Road.
According to reports, the California Highway Patrol said a GMC SUV driven by a 16-year-old from Seaside was traveling southbound on Reservation Road when it hit a pedestrian. The driver stayed at the scene and was not injured. The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on location. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the incident.
