Montgomery, MO (August 12, 2025) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Monday evening after striking a deer on Route N in Montgomery County. The incident occurred at approximately 6:55 p.m. on August 11 near Graveyard Hill Road.
According to reports, a 2015 Harley-Davidson Softail Classic, driven by a 47-year-old woman from Montgomery City, collided with a deer in the roadway, causing the motorcycle to overturn and eject the rider. A second motorcycle, a 2017 Harley-Davidson Softail Classic operated by a 56-year-old man from Montgomery City, then struck the first motorcycle, forcing it off the right side of the road.
The woman sustained serious injuries and was transported by Montgomery County EMS to University Hospital for treatment. The male motorcyclist was not hurt.
