Hamilton, MO (August 12, 2025) – Two juveniles were hurt Monday evening after a utility terrain vehicle (UTV) accident in rural Daviess County. The crash occurred at approximately 5:40 p.m. on August 11 along Waltz Avenue, about half a mile west of 110th Street and four miles north of Hamilton.

According to reports, a 2023 Polaris RZR was traveling westbound when it struck a hump in the roadway near the bridge over Morrowbone Creek. The impact caused the UTV to veer off the south side of the bridge, become airborne, and hit the bridge’s concrete wing wall before colliding with the ground and coming to rest on its passenger side.

The 15-year-old male driver from Hamilton sustained minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene. A 15-year-old male passenger suffered moderate injuries and was transported by Daviess County Ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
