Camdenton, MO (August 12, 2025) – A teenage driver was injured Monday afternoon in a rear-end crash on US 54 in Camden County. The collision happened at approximately 5:17 p.m. on August 11, westbound near West Lake Park.
According to reports, a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500, driven by a 17-year-old male from Macks Creek, struck the rear of a 1998 Ford F-150 driven by 49-year-old Camdenton resident. Both vehicles sustained total damage and were towed from the scene by Bledsoe Towing.
The teen driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, suffered moderate injuries and was transported by Mercy EMS to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment. The driver of the Ford was not injured. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
