Pleasant Hill, CA (Aug. 13, 2025) – A man was killed Tuesday morning after his SUV overturned on an Interstate 680 off-ramp in Pleasant Hill, according to the California Highway Patrol.
According to reports, the crash was reported at 8:14 a.m. on August 12 along the Monument Boulevard off-ramp from northbound I-680. Investigators said the man was driving a silver Lexus SUV in the slow lane when he veered toward the off-ramp, lost control, and traveled up an embankment before the vehicle overturned.
The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the SUV and pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released. The off-ramp was closed for just over two hours while authorities conducted their investigation.
