Guntersville, AL (Aug. 13, 2025) – A 48-year-old woman was killed early Tuesday morning in a head-on collision with a tractor-trailer in Guntersville, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
According to reports, the crash occurred on August 12 along Alabama Highway 79 near Valley Road. Authorities say Jennifer Otinger was driving when her vehicle collided head-on with the tractor-trailer. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the tractor-trailer sustained injuries and was transported to Huntsville Hospital for treatment. ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division is continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
