Humble, TX (August 13, 2025) — A multi-vehicle crash involving a Humble ISD school bus left five people hospitalized just one day before the start of the school year, according to local emergency officials.
According to reports, the accident occurred around 2 p.m. on August 12 in the Atascocita neighborhood. The school bus was traveling on West Lake Houston Parkway near Farm to Market Road 1960 when it was involved in a crash with at least three other vehicles.
Though no students were on board at the time, seven individuals were evaluated at the scene. Five were taken to local hospitals with injuries described as non-life-threatening, including the school bus driver. The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
