According to reports, the deadly incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on August 8, in the southbound lanes of I-805, just north of Home Avenue. The California Highway Patrol stated that Henry was walking on the interstate when he was hit by a silver Toyota Yaris traveling southbound.
Emergency responders arrived quickly, but Henry was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities shut down multiple lanes of the freeway during the investigation, leading to delays in the area.
