BOSTON, MA (January 12, 2025) – A tragic crash in South Boston on Sunday morning left one pedestrian dead and two individuals critically injured after an SUV struck a man and then crashed into a building at the intersection of Andrew Square on Dorchester Avenue.
The Boston Police Department reports that the crash occurred shortly before 9:30 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been struck by an SUV. He was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The SUV that hit the pedestrian continued forward, colliding with a building. Both the driver and a passenger in the SUV sustained critical injuries and were also transported to the hospital.
