Atlantic Beach, NY (December 13, 2025) – A Thursday evening crash involving an alleged drunk driver left an 11-year-old boy with life-threatening injuries and led to criminal charges against a Brentwood man, according to Nassau County authorities.
According to the Nassau County Police Department, the crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. on December 11 on Beech Street in Atlantic Beach. Officials say 30-year-old Job Giuliana was driving a Chevrolet Equinox when he crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a Chevrolet Traverse.
Inside the Traverse were a 52-year-old man, a 49-year-old woman, and the young boy. The child suffered severe bodily trauma and was airlifted to a nearby hospital. The woman was reported to have body pain, and the male driver sustained a head injury.
Giuliana was also injured in the crash. Officers at the scene applied a tourniquet to his leg before transporting him to a hospital. Authorities later determined he was intoxicated and placed him under arrest. He faces charges including vehicular assault, assault, driving while intoxicated, and reckless endangerment.
