White County, GA (September 4, 2025) – A fatal three-vehicle crash in White County Tuesday afternoon claimed the life of a Clermont man and left several others injured.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, the crash occurred just before 1:00 p.m. on September 2 on Highway 129 North/State Route 11 near Albert Reid Road. A preliminary investigation reveals that 41-year-old Julia Robinson of Gainesville was driving a Kia Forte southbound when she became distracted and crossed into oncoming traffic.
Robinson’s Kia collided head-on with a Toyota Corolla driven by 26-year-old Malani Zavala of Cleveland. A third vehicle, a Lexus ES driven by 69-year-old Marilyn Frye, also of Cleveland, struck Zavala’s vehicle from behind.
Tragically, Robinson’s front-seat passenger, 51-year-old Brian Wallace of Clermont, suffered fatal injuries. Despite emergency life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The other three drivers were transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
