According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened around 5:39 p.m. on November 28 on Interstate 27 near Moss Lane. A Chevrolet Tahoe was heading southbound on Canyon Drive when the vehicle veered off the roadway, traveled down an embankment, and collided with a stationary semi-trailer.
First responders arrived at the scene, where the driver of the Chevrolet Tahoe was pronounced deceased. No other injuries were reported.
