Franklin, MO (July 17, 2025) – Emergency crews responded Wednesday afternoon to a two-vehicle crash that left one driver injured and both vehicles heavily damaged near the intersection of Highway 100 and Thiebes Road.
According to reports, the crash took place at approximately 2:31 p.m. on July 16. A 2010 Hyundai Sonata, operated by a 21-year-old man from Labadie, was traveling southbound when the collision occurred. The Hyundai reportedly failed to yield to a westbound 2022 Ford Mustang driven by a 52-year-old Eureka man. The Ford struck the side of the Hyundai, resulting in extensive damage to both vehicles.
The 21-year-old driver of the Hyundai, who was wearing a safety device, sustained moderate injuries. He was transported by Meramec Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital St. Louis for treatment. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by John’s Towing.
