Henry, MO (June 23, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash in Henry County on Saturday afternoon sent four individuals to the hospital, including a young teen, following a collision at a highway intersection.

According to reports, the crash happened around 4:20 p.m. on June 22 at the intersection of Missouri Route 52 and South 8th Street. A 2011 Chevrolet Equinox driven by a 51-year-old woman from Excelsior Springs was heading east when it failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a westbound 2020 Nissan Rogue.

The crash left both vehicles totaled and required towing from the scene. Inside the Nissan Rogue were a 59-year-old female driver and two passengers, a 60-year-old man and a 13-year-old boy, all of whom were transported by EMS to Golden Valley Hospital. The male and female adults suffered moderate injuries, while the teenager and the driver of the Equinox sustained minor injuries.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
