Jackson, MO (June 23, 2025) – A late-evening crash on Interstate 35 in Kansas City resulted in two people being transported to the hospital after a high-speed maneuver led to a two-vehicle collision.
According to reports, the accident occurred at approximately 9:00 p.m. on June 22 near the Paseo exit. A 2024 Honda Civic, driven by a 27-year-old man from Union City, New Jersey, attempted to exit the highway at the last minute, striking a 2006 Nissan Armada.
After the impact, the Honda veered off the left side of the roadway and hit a guardrail, while the Nissan ran off the right side and collided with a concrete barrier. The Civic was totaled and towed from the scene, as was the Armada, which sustained minor damage.
The male driver of the Honda and a 66-year-old female passenger in the Armada were both taken to North Kansas City Hospital with minor injuries.
