Montgomery, MO (June 23, 2025) – A serious crash on Interstate 70 Saturday afternoon left a woman injured after her vehicle overturned multiple times following a rear-end impact.
According to reports, the incident occurred around 12:40 p.m. on June 22 along the eastbound lanes of I-70 near the 166.8 mile marker. A 36-year-old woman from St. Charles was driving a 2023 Audi Q5 when she slowed for traffic and was struck from behind by a 2018 Chevrolet 3500 operated by a 17-year-old male from Marthasville.
The impact caused the Audi to veer off the left side of the roadway, where it overturned several times before coming to a stop. The woman sustained moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital West in Wentzville. The juvenile driver of the Chevrolet was not injured and drove his vehicle to a nearby rest area.
