Pulaski, MO (July 17, 2025) – A rollover crash along Interstate 44 on Wednesday morning left a young girl injured after the vehicle she was in struck a semi-truck and overturned.
According to reports, the crash occurred at approximately 11:35 a.m. on July 16 in the eastbound lanes near mile marker 160.6. A 2019 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by a 58-year-old woman from Selma, Indiana, was headed westbound when it struck the rear of an unidentified tractor-trailer. The SUV veered off the left side of the highway and overturned.
Inside the vehicle was a 5-year-old girl from Muncie, Indiana, who sustained moderate injuries despite wearing a safety device. She was transported by Pulaski County Ambulance District to Phelps Health in Rolla for treatment. The Equinox was declared a total loss and was scheduled to be towed from the scene by TC Towing.
