San Angelo, TX (August 6, 2025) — A two-vehicle crash on Tuesday afternoon in San Angelo resulted in one person being hospitalized and temporary road closures in the area.

According to reports, the collision occurred around 2:30 p.m. on August 5 along Avenue N near the intersection with College Hills Boulevard and Beauregard Avenue. Police say both vehicles — a white GMC Canyon and a white Chrysler 300 — were traveling westbound when the Canyon attempted an unsafe lane change and struck the Chrysler.

The driver of the Chrysler was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The severity of the injuries was not immediately disclosed.

The driver of the GMC Canyon was issued a warning for the unsafe maneuver, and the vehicle was later towed from the scene.

Eastbound Avenue N was temporarily closed for approximately 30 minutes as police investigated and cleared the roadway.
