Car Accident in San Angelo, TX — One Injured on Avenue N Near College Hills Blvd (August 5, 2025)
San Angelo, TX (August 7, 2025) — A two-vehicle crash in San Angelo sent one person to the hospital Tuesday afternoon and briefly shut down a stretch of Avenue N.
According to reports, the crash occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. on August 5, 2025, near the intersection of Avenue N, College Hills Boulevard, and Beauregard Avenue. San Angelo Police said both a white GMC Canyon and a white Chrysler 300 were headed westbound on Avenue N when the driver of the Canyon attempted an unsafe lane change and struck the Chrysler.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the Chrysler driver to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been publicly disclosed.
The GMC Canyon had to be towed due to damage, and the driver received a warning citation for making an unsafe lane change. Eastbound lanes of Avenue N were closed for approximately 30 minutes while crews cleared the scene and officers investigated.
The crash remains under review by San Angelo Police.
