St. Charles, MO (June 25, 2025) – A young driver was injured in a two-vehicle collision late Tuesday afternoon on Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St. Charles.
According to reports, the accident happened at approximately 5:50 p.m. on June 24 in the northbound lanes of Mid Rivers Mall Drive, just south of Interstate 70. A 2006 Ford Taurus, driven by a 19-year-old woman from Lake Saint Louis, had come to a stop due to traffic. A 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe, operated by a 27-year-old man from Wentzville, failed to stop in time and struck the rear of the Taurus.
The impact resulted in moderate damage to both vehicles. The Taurus had to be towed from the scene, while the Tahoe was able to be driven away. The teenage driver of the Taurus sustained minor injuries and was transported by St. Charles County Ambulance to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake Saint Louis for treatment.
