According to reports, the incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on June 22, when a Dodge Charger driven by a 19-year-old woman from Three Rivers was traveling westbound near Shimmel Road. Authorities say the vehicle attempted to pass another car before veering off the roadway, becoming airborne, and flipping over. The 13-year-old, one of six occupants in the Charger, was ejected from the car and died at the scene.
