Texarkana, AR (July 25, 2025) — A deadly three-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Texarkana woman Monday afternoon on Highway 71 between Texarkana and Ashdown.
According to reports, 28-year-old Kaprienceya Holloway was driving southbound on U.S. Highway 71 on July 21 when she collided with a Freightliner semi-truck that was stopped in the outside southbound lane. A Kia Sorento traveling in the same direction attempted to swerve around the crash but also struck the semi-truck.
The Arkansas State Police reported that Holloway sustained fatal injuries at the scene. It is unclear why the semi-truck was stopped in the travel lane, and the crash remains under investigation.
